Pioneer Press: Obama is Black: Does it matter?

Anyone else bothered by that front page headline? The image is of a man holding up a copy of Black Enterprise magazine from a June rally. Could they have used a Time Magazine cover?

Will they have one next week: McCain is Old: Does it matter? McCain had Cancer: Does it Matter?

1. I hate the Pioneer Press.

We know that he is black, we don't need a headline blaring it on the front page of the Pioneer Press. If they wanted to do a story on race in the Presidential election that would actually be interesting they should do a headline they should run the headline "Republicans are Racists. Will they Matter?" Somehow I don't think they will run that headline though, despite the fact that they could find all kinds of evidence to back it up.

I agree w/MN Against Bush - actually do some work: research, write and print an article on race.
