Kerry Wins Minnesota

Yeah, this is a national election and all eyes are on Ohio (and those corn-growing freaks to the south of us), but I'm still glad to see that all of those freakishly huge Bush/Cheney signs that littered our streets ended up being simply the loud minority. I remember Bush saying Gov. Pawlenty whispered into his ear at the Target Center "We're gonna win Minnesota." Well, not quite.

And he won it with a decisive margin. While Minnesota may not be the most influential state in this election, many studies have shown us to be the most literate (and therefore smarter), so no matter who wins this election we'll know we voted with our well-educated brains and not with the bull-headed, fearful mindset (except those jerks that voted for Kennedy).

In other words: we know our shit.

So, tonight, while I worry about the future of the country, I can at least be glad that we did our part, and I hope everyone in the other states can do theirs.

This definitely isn't over yet.
