Burns & staff in contest with Harris (R-FL) & staff? Who implodes first?
The strain is wearing on Burns and his people. That or he has some really dumb aids. Young staff member lets loose, comments complete with obscenities, to a reporter asking about the Burns' tirade aimed at those tired VA firefighters at Logan Airport.

A member of Senator Conrad Burns' staff accidentally let loose a profanity-laced tirade to a reporter--including a direct insult of Senator George Allen (R-Va.)-- according to Roll Call's "Heard on the Hill."

The Daily Press of Newport News, Va., was calling Burns' office for further comment on a recent outburst by the Senator (R-Mt.) blasting Virginia firefighters in Montana when the young staffer who answered, erroneously believing the reporter to be a friend, proceeded with a host of obscenity-laced comments not intended for public consumption. GOP is running themselves into the ground.

They are proving, again and again, that they do not have the judgment nor temperament to be in the US Senate.
