1. Burns

This is great!  It should help Tester at the polls.  I hope
they play it a lot.  We really need Tester to win!


On another note  Everyone:

Please write your House of Representative and Senator  for
your state.  Please let them know how serious the Torture bill
is.  Let them know we do not want it to pass, and we will keep
it in mind when we go to the polls in November.  Think of how
our soldiers will be treated in future wars.  It is bad enough
they are fighting a war they should not be in now.

2. I know about this incident...

The Augusta Hotshots of Staunton, Virginia are one of the few Hotshot wildland fire crews based in the eastern U.S. Most are based in the west. "Hotshots" is a term for interregional, interagency firefighters who travel around the country on call to fight wildfires. I used to work in wildland fire. Wasn't a Hotshot but know all about them. They do some of the hardest, most arduous physical labor in firefighting. Conrad Burns, out of the blue, walked up to the Augusta Hotshots after they helped fight a wildfire in Montana and pointed to them and said they did a "piss poor job".

My question. What planet is Conrad Burns from? This guy is obviously mentally out to lunch. He later claimed that he was expressing the views of some ranchers in the area who took issue with their firefighting tactics. I don't buy Conrad's excuse, I think he was just flying off the handle. He has issues for sure.

Solution: Time to give Conrad Burns an early retirement. Vote for Tester for Senate!
