When I was growing up in Nevada I remember how I felt when we sang our state song in school. That's the same feeling I got today when Sen  Harry Reid stood up and showed some back bone. Really! I was hoping it would be Preaident Obama who stepped up but, I am glad someone did. Today I am
 proud to be a Nevadan. I will commit myself to work for the Re-Election of Sen. Harry Reid. He has earned my respect. REID is a LEADER.

Recently I've had some doubts about even supporting Harry next year, but by standing up this way he's re-earned my admiration. I sure hope he can work enough legislative magic to get the 60 votes. Looking back at GW Bush's effort to privatize social security, it's clear we owe a lot of credit to Harry Reid for holding the Senate Democrats solidly against it. Hopefully he can do it again.
