NM new governor unseats entire Environmental Board.
"ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Gov. Susana Martinez has taken aim at the controversial Environmental Improvement Board.

Her office announced late Tuesday that she's removing all members currently serving on the board, which recently approved greenhouse gas cap-and-trade regulations that would impact power plants and other large polluters across New Mexico." <snip>.....

Oil and Gas companies (many based in Texas) were Martinez's main campaign contributors and I'll bet the bank she is cashing in on promises she has made. I've always felt that her solution to the economy will be to drill (oil and gas) and dig (coal and uranium) our way into prosperity. The problem is public health and ecological biodiversity is at risk.
