Rumor Mill: Edwards at 2004 Ohio Democratic Party State Dinner

There is a very solid rumor floating around that John Edwards will be the keynote speaker at the Ohio State Dinner. (There's no mention of him in the link on ODP's website yet.) Has anyone else heard this? For weeks I heard Kerry might attend, but now all the buzz is about Edwards. I wish I had $150 to go to the dinner, but maybe someone here will post about it.

This lends some fuel to the fire as to whether Edwards may be VP. Sending him to swing state dinner is pretty interesting.

I made like 12 phone calls after reading your thread. Everybody confirms the "rumor," but not the "fact."

If Edwards is there, so am I... to hell with the $150!!! It's for a good cause, and seeing John speak is worth every last penny I have to scrape off the sidewalk. :D

Edwards is being floated around. Today, 29th, Edwards was on the radio with Don Imus......makes you wondcer doesn't it?

I love him, and will be glad to see him again. But it feels a bit like a rerun.

Since Ohio is a key battleground state, I thought we'd attract a bigger name this years.

My disappointment is only marginal, however. He'll still be great.
