Good afternoon! I'm writing you today to let you know about the
momentum building in Ohio. While the Kerry campaign
continues to pull ahead in the Presidential race, things are
slowly starting to move in the U.S. Senate race as well.
But "slowly" is a good thing.
Confused? Don't be.
This week, our Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate, Eric
Fingerhut started a 26 day, 310 mile walk of Ohio (from
Cincinnati to Cleveland). NOW THAT'S GRASSROOTS! And it's
slower than the traditional pace of most campaigns. Rather than
drive the state and make quick appearances, this walk is getting
our candidate in places no Senator has been in a decade. He's
meeting new people, talking to real voters and making the
connection that if you really want change, you have to be
committed to hard work and showing people how serious you
are.
We've started tracking his progress online at
http://www.walkohio.com and encourage you to check it out.
After reading about Eric and the people he's talking to along the
way, we think you'll see how special this walk is. He's
determined to bring Ohio back to it's former glory. And, he's
committed to giving the Democrats and President Kerry a
majority in the Senate that they desperately need.
Please consider helping us in this effort.
Show the politicians that grassroots campaiging still works.
