Does Mean Jean know WTF she is doing in Congress?

I mean, look at this, the beast has a worse voting record than Virgil 'Muslim Hater' Goode VA-5. Even Goode voted yes on all three of these bills. How could THAT be?? I am just astounded. Schmidt is a POS, I sure hope the Ohio Dems run Paul Hackett to kick her ass in 2008!!! Tracked through MegaVote through Congress.Org:

Recent House Votes - JEAN SCHMIDT(HEAD) OH-2 (northern Cincinnati, Mason, etc.)
Freedom of Information Act Amendments - Vote Passed (308-117, 8 Not Voting)
The House passed this bill that would impose new requirement on government agencies regarding Freedom of Information Act requests.

Rep. Jean Schmidt voted NO

I guess mean Jean doesn't like transparency in Govt.?

Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act - Vote Passed (331-94, 8 Not Voting)
This House bill is intended to strengthen federal workers' whistleblower rights.

Rep. Jean Schmidt voted NO

Mean Jean thinks whistleblowers should be both discouraged and punished.

Accountability in Contracting Act - Vote Passed (347-73, 13 Not Voting)
This House bill is intended to increase oversight of federal contractors.

Rep. Jean Schmidt voted NO

Is Mean Jean getting kickbacks from Hallibacon??

Edit, I just fired off an email to her:

Rep. Schmidt, you have outdone yourself.

Do you not believe in transparency in Government? I guess not since you voted NO against the Freedom of information Act Amendment.

Do you think brave people who risk life and limb to report fraud and wrong-doing in Govt. should be protected? I guess not since you voted NO on Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act.

Do you believe that Govt. contractors should be held accountable for their spending, and activities in Iraq & elsewhere? I guess not since you voted NO against the Accountability in Contracting Act.

Just who do you represent in Washington DC? Inquiring minds would like to know.

AND I just fired off a similar letter to the Cincinnati Enquirer:

Rep. Jean Schmidt has shown her true colors in Congress this past week.

Does she believe in transparency in Government? I guess not since she
voted NO against the Freedom of information Act Amendment.

Does she think brave people who risk life and limb to report fraud and
wrong-doing in Govt. should be protected? I guess not since she voted NO on Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act.

Does she believe that Government contractors should be held accountable for their spending, and activities in Iraq? I guess not since she voted NO against the Accountability in Contracting Act.

Just who does Jean Schmidt represent in Washington DC? Inquiring minds would like to know.

1. She represents a ton of
really stupid people in Clermont County. I'd be embarrassed if I were one of them.

Vic Wulsin would have made Ohioans so proud....damn.

I still think there's problems with BOE in Clermont.

3. She also represents too many stupid people in Warren County...
The local rag in Mason (Pulse-Journal) has a regular column by Mean Jean. It has gotten to the point that I can't read the column. It is bad for my blood pressure.

I do hope that Victoria Wulsin runs in '08 against Mean Jean. I supported Wulsin in '06 and would do it again anytime. Wulsin is a class act and it is really apparent when compared to Mean Jean.

4. I did some work this past summer
in Clermont County, I was so happy when each day was over.

Of course, I'm from Perry County, so I don't have a whole lot of room to talk.

2. That's a good letter
Very strident without becoming unhinged or rude.

I think Vic Wulsin is still looking for a few dollars to retire her campaign debt. I have heard hints that Vic will run again. Would be swell
