Write in question
Lee Fisher lost this election the day he was chosen by the Ohio Dem party over Brunner. Because he is a lost cause, I intend to write in Brunner for Senator. I also have several friends and family who will do the same. Question......will write ins get counted and posted? I thought Ohio changed some laws regarding write in votes.

1. Contact the Secretary of State?
Ok, I am being a wise guy. There is a way to write in a candidate for *any* race, IIRC.

2. I was for jen too
still not happy with Fisher but I'm gonna vote for him over Portman.

Write ins usually get posted in the aggregate - it might be recorded at the local BOE but in the reporting, your write in vote for Brunner will be reported as "other" or "write-in" along with "Snoopy" and "Bon Jovi".

3. I gave Brunner nearly $1,000 and very much dislike Chris Redfern and the Ohio Dem

Party machine and I still voted for Lee Fisher.

How could it hurt?

Besides, getting Redfern replaced as party chair seems like a worth while effort.

4. Not just Redfern
We have nothing but Dino bureaucrats in our Ohio Dem leadership. We need to concentrate on a new Dem party in Ohio before next election.

5. I agree. The key is to put pressure on the Dem Central Committee members. They are the ones that
hold the cards.

7. I understand
your discord but I voted for Fisher even though I too backed Bruner. I refuse to go down without a fight and Fisher needs every vote he can get.
