$1.6 million so far for Kasich's inauguration
I LOVE fiscal conservatives. They are "fiscally conservative" when it comes to Medicaid, wages for public workers, education, infrastructure ... but when it comes to a THINGS FOR THEMSELVES, what's $1.6 million?? Apparently, ol' John has raised the funds from fine folks like Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson and ONLY spent about $607,000 of it for expenses with his transition, BUT I'm not sure we can afford this "fiscal conservative."

More details here (yes, the ABJ posted this article under "sports"):

2. Our unemployment rate
People I talked with were angry at no jobs, so wanted "Ted to pay." No attempts at trying to talk sense to them got me anywhere. However, I do see buyer's remorse setting in quickly. Not that THAT helps Ohio any!

3. Yeah, funny thing about that.....
.....My hubby works as a supervisor for one of the smaller (wealthy, Republican) rural counties here and says the mantra in the workplace was,"But Stickland didn't get the jobs done!" Now some of their 'gubmint' jobs are on the potential chopping block and they just can't believe it's happening to them.

Why some folks vote against their own self-interest and pocketbooks is just plain ignorant!

You are right; buyer's remorse won't help Ohio one damned bit!

5. Another way to get "free" upgrades to his private interests
I wonder how much of that $1.6 went into his private home for his private swearing in. The man is a worm.

6. Remember when Ted and Frances moves into the Gov. mansion?
They commented on it being the nicest place they ever lived. That same mansion wasn't good enough for the Kasich family. We the taxpayers had to pony up for security on their private residence. He's blood sucking worm.
