Here I thought I'd left a politically nutball state behind in leaving OH for Rapid City last year, only to find that I appear to have entered an even more politically nutball state. I didn't think that was possible, considering what's happening in Ohio. I'm beginning to think good ol' sunny CA is the only sane state left in the country.

I hope the rally went well. I love Rapid City's beautiful natural sights, but the people can be a bit testy to live with.. so it's good to see there's a progressive streak within the city!

They use paper ballots in SoDak, thank God. Aside from the religious streak in the farmers, South Dakotans are mostly sane. They do go nuts on the 3rd Saturday in October and the Friday after Thanksgiving, though.

That's pheasant season opener and deer season opener, respectively.

The rapid city journal closed their closed their bulletin board sometime ago, mainly because of the interference being brought about by chronwatch. I guess beating up the San Francisco Chronicle wasn't enough for those fascists. Anyway, many of us started RCJ 3 and are trying to keep it up and going, and all rapid city folks are invited!
