Representative Herseth Sandlin supports John Edwards, and other news...
I know pretty much everybody already knows about this, but figured I should post anyways:

http://johnedwards.com/news/press-releases/200700416-stephanie-herseth/

"Chapel Hill, North Carolina – The John Edwards for President campaign announced today that South Dakota Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin endorsed Senator John Edwards for President, citing in part his commitment to addressing the challenges facing rural communities. Today, Edwards released the details of his Rural Recovery Act, which would restore economic fairness and create new jobs and businesses in rural America, help struggling counties and towns and protect rural people and their way of life."

In other news, Senator Tim Johnson will be making his first public appearance since his hospitalization: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/08/17/politics/main3178194.shtml

"(AP) South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson will make a public appearance when he visits Sioux Falls later this month, his first since a brain hemorrhage eight months ago.

Johnson, a Democrat, is to appear on Aug. 28, his office announced Thursday. He is expected to return to the Senate in September."
