State representative candidate Katy Hubener today launched a flight of television ads on local stations to encourage voters to support her call for better public schools in the February 28 special election to fill the vacant District 106 seat in the Texas House of Representatives.

Hubener has been endorsed by the Texas State Teachers Association, the American Federation of Teachers, the Texas Association of Realtors, countless labor organizations and other public education and community groups.


Hubener graduated summa cum laude with a masters degree in higher education from Claremont Graduate University. Hubener also holds an undergraduate degree in education from Texas Tech University and is a certified Texas classroom teacher.

“There is only one issue in this special election on February 28 -- electing someone we trust to put our children first during the legislative session to fund public schools” Hubener said in the television commerical.

Hubener has worked for the prestigious Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, Northwood University, and the Dallas County Community College District as a college admissions officer, college professor, and public relations director.

2. Voting for Katy and stepping up to help

There is so much confusion in this race right now. Early voting for this race has already begun. The special election for this race is Feb 28th. Early voting for the March primary starts on Feb. 21st and overlaps with early voting for the special election. Then the Democratic primary is on March 7th. The poor people in this district need to vote officially for Katy twice, within a three week period. Damn you MoFo Perry!!!

Please, please if you can help Katy out with a small donation. Her volunteers have a heck a lot of leg work to do, getting the message out that people have to vote twice. We don't want them forgetting to vote in the special election thinking that voting in the primary is enough.
