Ok, gang, I got my primary postcard out.
:patriot:

I sent a postcard about the primary to all the voters in my precinct who have Dem primary history and who have no Rep primary history. Figure maybe I'll snag a few independents that way. I put the postcard together in Word in an hour and sent it via the USPS website, so that means NO trip to Kinko's and NO sticking on those damn labels. It was a bit more spendy that way but I absolutely hate putting together mailers so for me it's worth it.

If any of you are thinking about sending a postcard to your precinct and you want my Word document, just hit me up with your email address in a PM. You could always use the Word document as a template and do your own mailing.

Here is the USPS site:
http://mailingonline.click2mail.com/

Mine is going to cost me about $500 to go out to 1500 people. It is about $350 in postage and the rest in production costs, black and white two sided. You just upload your postcard and upload your data source and BOOM you're done. Did I mention I love this website? I just hate doing mailings.

If someone else wants help with the USPS website and has edited this document the way they want it, I'll be glad to help. You'll have to figure out your data source yourself, though, unless you're in Dallas county, and then I can help you.

Onwards, into the fog! :toast:
