So are republics in Texas crossing over to vote in the democratic primary?
I just got into a huge fight with my sister, she said all of her republican friends were going to vote for Hillary in the primary. If Hillary gets the nomination because of democratic votes so be it I hate to think of the republicans screwing us over this way. Makes me sick to my stomach. :(

1. Most of the analysis I've heard says Republicans and indies are voting for Obama, against Hillary
The real RW die-hards will vote in the GOP primary to get the rightiest wingnuttiest candidates on the GE ballot. Could work our way in November - even in Texas.

2. Huckleberry is really strong in Texas. DFW is after all the buckle
of the Bible Belt.

There may be some small amount of subterfuge but not enough to sway the vote.

5. If DFW is the buckle
That makes Waco the crotch.

(just a little self effacing humor about my home town)

3. Some Are
I know of at least one Republican who crossed over to try to get what she thought was the weakest Democratic presidential candidate on the November ballot.

4. Anecdotally, some are
And depending on the version, you hear, they are voting for Hillary or they are voting for Obama. In my version of the anecdote they are canceling each other out.

7. Whatever their number happens to be
I doubt whether they will lift themselves up from in front of the teevee and caucus with Democrats on Election Day evening. So there's one thing I suppose I can like about our confusing prima-caucus: that it provides a way to counter the crossover manipulation.

8. Not here, there is big repuke sheriff race and even some Dems
I've talked to are voting so they will have a voice in that race but have said they will be supporting the Dem candidate in Nov. Around here, the local elections often still take precedent.
