I hope every one had the turnout at their caucuses tonight that we did.

We're an itsy, bitsy little precinct. We had 5 people show up two years ago. Tonight we had 73 and the Republicans had 5! It was amazing and invigorating!

We had so many people wanting to be delegates this time we had to give our speeches and actually work for the positions! Usually we're pulling people off the rolls who we think might actually be persuaded to show up at the County Convention, LOL!

1. Holy frak. Just got back.

We had 3 precincts at an elementary school. We waited outside in the cold for nearly two hours until all the voting was wrapped up and they let us in. I don't know the numbers, but once we were in we completely filled the basketball court in the gym, standing shoulder to shoulder. By the time I signed in it was after 10:00.

Edit: I think Obama people outnumbered the Hillary people 2 to 1. That's surprising enough, but I am more astounded that there are so many Democrats in this area.

Tonight was like no other caucus I can ever remember. Democrats were crawling out of the woodwork. :P
