And with the primary/caucus system, we're still the center of attention the day after the election (unlike all the other chump states out there who get used for their votes and then immediately dropped like a hot potato). I felt exactly the way that you did. Precinct 255 in Houston usually gets a handful of people. This time, there were almost 300. Miracle of miracles, Clinton and Obama backers all behaved and got the job done in three hours. Yeah, it was crazy and loud and people grumbled about the wait. But it worked. 17 Obama delegates, 13 Clinton and no one complained that it was unfair.

I can almost smell Houston turning blue!
