I was thinking it was time to bring this back up after we had to bail on the meetup we tried to have at the end of last year.

Edit: pre-existing plans on that date. After that date, we're good. :(

4. About the thread title...

I just noticed that it says "Saturday" instead of "Sunday," but it's too late for me to change it.

6. Well Derby, looks like we won't be able to attend, but what if we tried to arrange something

for next Saturday instead, say 1:30ish.

Maybe more people could attend. Just a thought, I really would like to get together with the DFW DUers. It's been awhile since we were all together.

I too think another weekend would be better because of all those who can't make it, but next weekend is not good either because of the big DFA Training in Dallas. Please sign up. I hope to see a lot of DU'ers there!

12. Sounds like an exciting event, but I don't have the funds to attend

I'm very cash poor, having to survive on credit cards, and don't know how much longer I can do that.

Maybe we should try and plan a get together the week after next. I certainly would like to spend some time with everyone, if at all possible.

It was just ginbarn and I this time. Would a Saturday work better for everyone? This coming Saturday is St. Pat's weekend, so I don't know if everyone's already got plans in this regard.

It's the DFA Training weekend. I know of at least one other Dallas DU'er who will also be heavily involved with the training, but I'll let her speak for herslf. :)

There will be an opening reception for the DFA Dallas training at the Belmont Hotel on Friday night. It'll be a good time and very social. Don't have to be attending the training to come to the party. Also we are having a speaker, although I forget who. I plan on getting pretty plowed and talking a lot of politics! :D
