that the county/senatorial convention are open to anyone with only delegates being allowed to vote. Is that true for resolutions also? Thanks.

Edited to add: I read the rules and am pretty sure one can not vote on anything unless he/she is a delegate. However, can anyone discuss the resolutions even if one is not a voting delegate?

1. Most of the discussions on resolutions will go on in the Resolutions committee.
There will be very little discussion of resolutions on the floor.

That said, when I was on Resolutions two years ago, we had all kinds of random people hanging out with the committee contributing their two cents. They just couldn't vote.

You may want to get in touch with your temporary chair and ask that person to put you in touch with the person who will be chairing Resolutions. Oftentimes that committee does work before and/or after the convention, if there are a lot of resolutions to get through.

2. Well, I am the precinct chair and the resolution chair will be our
new county chair. We are both delegates. I am remembering from last time that we had lots of talk with the entire group about some of the resolutions. I am composing an e-mail to those that participated in the caucus (And provided me with an e-mail), reminding them that they could all come to the county convention but could not vote unless they were delegates. I wanted to provide some additional info about what might be of interest to them. Hence the question.
