Might have a job back home in Houston (which is what we want). I'd work from home, and probably would have fairly frequent travel to Detroit, but hey, we'd be back on the Katy Prairie again!

We're ready for Tex-Mex, Cracker Barrel, the Astros, the Aeros, Popeyes, inexpensive housing, good roads...lots of benefits to living in the UK, but sometimes you just miss home!

If you're home by June, try to come to the Democratic State Convention in Austin and you'll meet a whole bunch of us at once.

if everything works out, which I think it will, I'll have to go to Detroit next week, but will be back in the UK by mid-May because we already have a vacation to Ireland planned and paid for. So, sometime in June.

So you may miss that. The convention dates are June 5th-7th in Austin, TX

You might want to try to get into Netroots Nation though. That happens in July, also in Austin this year. It's the gathering of mostly DailyKos members and readers but it's a huge well attended conference with lots of media and politicians.

10. Welcome Back! My husband is from Baytown, so we used to visit

relatives that a way while they were still living there. I really enjoy the good international food in Houston, plus the Museums!
