Heavens! Are ya'll OK?
More new creepy crawlies to add to the Texan pantheon of crawlies. :scared:

Hey, they eat fire ants, but they like to eat electronics and other wildlife. Plus, it doesn't sound like Amdro works on them. Yikes!

1. Hey I just posted the story too, sorry
I thought your post was about the bad weather we were having. Sorry.

This is what comes to mind when people ask if we're OK.
Possible tornado damage reported in Salado and http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/weather/entries/2008/05/14/trailers_knocke.html">Trailers knocked over in Burnet County

We're OK in Austin by the way. We had a good rain but no wind damage.

:hi:

2. hi there! Saw that thing about the weird ants on TVthis morning
I am on the road with my husband and today was the first news/TV/Radio I have seen since Monday.

We are in North Dakota; I'm heading back to Texas Sunday early. He is working in the North Dakota badlands, not far from Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is a wild and gorgeous place. I checked 3 more states off my haven't been there list, too: Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.

How are things with you?

4. Well hell!
Wish I'd known you were heading there-- I would have sent you to Benson County to take some pictures at the cemetery in Minnewaukan for me!

Going good, sweetie, thanks! Al had his first interview up here on Tuesday, and we have our fingers crossed! I had a breakthrough in Madison last weekend (yay!) so the book is now up over 850 pages. :bounce:

And I love the new job. My boss is very cool. The weather is GORGEOUS! Tulips everywhere. Way worth living through that long long winter. :D

3. You think they're worse than Republicans?
We've had an infestation of creepy, crawly, six-legged freaks all over the Great State for fourteen years. And we're about to finally rid ourselves of those pests.

You don't think a few tiny ants are going to slow us down, do you?

:hi:
