3. Good old Harris County

The Houston area is far more than just Repubs/Repugs. There's a lot of progressive thought there, just surrounded by Red but not submerged by it.

I made this point on another thread. We can win these races with a good organized grassroots campaign. That's how Vo won. He got his base out. This district had a very nice influx of Vietnamese and he got them involved in his campaign. That plus the coalition of Dems in this precinct got Heflin out.
