H-Town DU Meetup REVISED to Sat.1/22 2pm

We're switching because several folks are going to N'Awlins for the Jazz Funeral for Democracy, and others have inauguration day activities to participate in.

So we'll meet Saturday afternoon for a report on all those!

I just want to kick this up since there seems to be confusion about the date of the meetup this month. It is NOT Wednesday and it WASN'T last Saturday.

It is set for this Saturday so we can get feedback from those who attend any counter-coronation events.

I think we had 15 people this time! I hope we will continue that kind of good turnout!

Hopefully that one pic I took will come out good, so I can post it. It was nice meeting all the MeetUp newbies and good to see the regulars again!:-)

I want to put it on the Meetup.com site as our group picture.

I din't even count but I thought we had twenty people there. Best Meetup yet. (It seems, needless to say, to be a good idea to have it on a Saturday afternoon.) So I am going to shift our Meetup day to the third Saturday of the month, and shall we keep at Crescent City there in Bellaire or does someone else have a location suggestion?

That is great that we had the largest group yet. I hope some of the others that don't normally post on DU start posting. I would like it if you switched it to Saturday, but that's just me. Weekdays is kind of hard for me because I take the park and ride and get home around 6:30, so it's rough fighting the traffic. Hopefully some of the others prefer saturday afternoons.
