3. I doubt it will be. Primaries in VA usually only get 4-6% of voters. n/t

4. I voted today at 10:15....
and was only the 26th person to vote at my precinct, Knights of Columbus on Nettles Drive in Newport News.

We need a bigger turnout. I couldn't believe I was only the 26th person to vote that late in the morning.

On the plus side, I was happy to see that Virginia uses paper ballots. This was my first time voting here and I was used to the voting machines they use in Louisiana.

Come on DU, lets vote!

6. Paper Ballots? We use electronic machines in No. VA
I thought VA law mandated electronic voting by this year? You'll probably have new machines in November.

18. cool...
Your parents, sister, I and a handful of others were I guess the only ones who voted at that precinct. I'm going to check the website to see.

Webb won!! Wooo hoo! Now lets take down that smug jackass Allen!

10. SW VA
I voted at lunchtime and I was the only person there to vote (I don't know how many were before me.) As I was leaving an elderly man hobbled in, so there were at least 2 of us!

We used touchscreen machines, and I've never trusted them. I always feel like my vote is going nowhere.

19. CONGRATULATIONS TEAM DU-VIRGINIA
We did it :bounce:

Thanks to Alberto, I didn't make it home in time from Florida to vote, but glad we squeeked by in VaBeach, which made me feel better for nagging 50 people before I left. Looks like we have our work cut out in the other Hampton Roads cities now!

I honestly think the election was so close because of Republicans voting and donating to/for Miller, the candidate Allen was guaranteed to beat. Now we have a Revolution, didn't the "original" one start in Virginia too

:toast:
