1. Isn't there any interest in the Saturday protest? Your work isn't over
just because we took the HOR and Senate. We still are in War if you hadn't noticed.

4. At least two from DU were there. From 1000 to 2000 people marched.
I spoke to Rep Jim McDermott from WA 7th district along the route.
It was a beautiful day for marching, i got sun burn....yes the sun occasionally shines in Seattle.

This was at at 'greatest threads' today; list of the photo albums posted from many cities across the nation. thanks for posting the pictures goes out to DU user named 133724.

--- My note; when looking at the photos, see the newest banner featuring Lt. Watada's photo against the backdrop of the Constitution. With the recent two day Citizens' Hearing on Legality of U.S. Actions in Iraq; the case of Lt. Ehren Watada (www.wartribunal.org), we had our invited expert Testifiers (Daniel Ellsberg, etc) swear in on the Constitution before giving their testimonies. I also see the support Lt. Watada campaign is now using this image of Lt. Watada against the backdrop of the Constitution on the t-shirts, buttons, banners, etc.. I like it. It's asthetically clean and symbolically meaningful.

Military Officers swear an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies - foreign and domestic. Unlike military enlisted who swear an oath to follow orders of superiors. Which is why military officers do have a duty-bound obligation to discern legal from illegal orders based on their oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. Incidentally, the President - Commander-in-Chief swears a similar oath when taking office to defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

Makes you go hmmmmmm - doesn't it?
