I'm not necessarily asking for recommendations -- the kicks might do -- but I really thought I had some good points in an O.P., this afternoon.

I was thinking along the lines of:

FISA + the Contempt vote in the House, today, could = really, really, really *bad* things for the Bushie's.

2. Thanks, but I think I just got a little carried away with possibilities.

Stringing together too many "what if's" in a row.

Even if all the spaghetti hits the fan, it's not really likely that all the strands will stick to the ceiling. (To mix a metaphor.)

There's that other big "if" that may not happen, that the Bush/Cheney uber-Executive Branch is going to be powerless to stop a determined House investigation of FISA, to discover the uses it has -- and has not been -- been put to.

It may never happen, or it may never go through all those protruding iceberg tips.

It sure was nice, though, to see the Democrats in the House not caving in, standing up and telling it straight.
