Rep. Steve Kagen D-Wisc 8th endorses Barack Obama
Kagen said he would endorse whoever the voters, in his congressional district supported, and he did, after talking directly to Clinton & Obama.

The Green Bay tabloid, on Wed ran an accusation smear, complaining why he didn't make the endorsement, the moment the polls closed.
The article complained he was not making a commitment fast enough, even though, ...IN THAT SAME ARTICLE, they reported he wanted to talk to both candidates, before making an announcement.

The entire article was a smear, because the paper has decided that Clinton & Obama, are not keeping with the PG's schedule.

It took a day, for Kagen to be able to personally talk to both candidates.....when he did, he then announced.

The election is in November, but the Gannett newspapers, the only ones published , in the 8th, would have none of that.

I am sure the two day delay, will be the major reason that the P-G will endorse the GOP candidate....of which nobody has announced.

There is no GOP candidate for the 8th Congressional District, as of Feb. 22, 2008.

1. Thank you, Steve!
I need to e-mail him and thank him for reflecting the view of the voters.

BTW, 100 % posted results from Kewaunee county weren't posted until well after midnight. WTF is Gannett bitching about??

And, will they endorse a repuke? Is the Pope Catholic? Is a repuke a Moran?

I detest that friggin' paper, and all the wanna-bes in the area. My news comes from DU and the local newscasts - - and, of course, Keith. :)

2. Gannett also owns the Pacific Daily News here on Guam.
I just can't get away from them....
