If anyone you know is interested in fishing or the great outdoors
There is a great website I can rec: lake-link.com (forums &etc.) has info on every lake in Wisco......

Also fishing for walleyes in the Fox River@ De Pere this time of year is gangbusters...catch and realease only. I think if you ate the 'eyes outta there you would glow in the dark, but one can catch lots of large walleyes there

1. That's my dad's home page
The man would live on the water - so long as it isn't hunting season.

Me, I went all the time as a kid. Now I go once or maybe twice a year if the weekends work out. My favorite fishing hole is the Wolf River by Fremont. Nothing beats spring White Bass fishing in my book.

9. Its a heavily wisconsin dominated site
on cursory glance, the shawano lake guys ( your neck of the woods, no?) seem to be a tight-lipped bunch. I think they are all concerned that body of water is getting over-fished

7. Yes, fishing for walleyes
at De Pere can be fun. And yes, anything taken out of the Fox River should be thrown back. There's warning signs all over concerning dangers of eating the fish taken from the river, I just hope everyone heads those warnings.

10. It is suppossed to be a "trophy fishery"
You're allowed to keep one over 28" to mount for the den, which is stupid because they can make replicas from photos and measurments now. Most guys are setting them go free

Believe it or dont, some people are eating the fish from there. Its kinda a sore subject, the pollution, the crowds on the water.

Whats the difference if you eat a fish from there or one caught out on the bay?

11. It can be a useful site but LOTS of Freepers hang out there....

Just check out the 'forums' sometime :puke: If you're just looking for some fishing info on a particular body of water there is some good stuff there.

For the record, I fish 2 times a week and use LL often. However, there are some better sites IMHO.

Edited to add: If anyone needs info about fishing Winnebago, I can proably help.
