Clydesdales to join Brat Days parade

I've never seen the Clydesdales in person, looking forward to doing so.

The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make an appearance in Sheboygan this summer, participating in the Brat Days parade on Saturday, Aug. 2.

The Sheboygan Jaycees Bratwurst Days parade, which begins at 9 a.m., traditionally showcases dozens of local organizations, musical groups, political candidates and businesses. This year, the giant horses from Anheuser-Busch will pull their familiar red wagon through Sheboygan during the parade.

The Clydesdales' appearance in Sheboygan is one of 300 made annually by the five traveling teams.

1. Isn't this some type of sacrilege? Isn't it Miller or nothing in Wisconsin

except for the micro/craft brews (e.g. New Glarus).

2. They are nothing but impressive

The Clydesdales came to my community about 15 years ago. They are just unbelievably fabulous animals. Pampered yet very well trained. Their skill, agility and power are a marvel. We took the kids and they even enjoyed them - but on an entirely different level than we did.
