What we in Wisconsin can do about climate change--April 17 meeting
Everyone is invited to the next meeting of Grassroots North Shore on April 17, where the speaker will talk about Wisconsin's part in fighting climate change. Also, there will undoubtedly be information on what we will be doing to help with the upcoming elections this year.

Global Warming is already changing Wisconsin’s environment, economy and agriculture. Join us for a presentation examining the effects of global warming in Wisconsin, and what we can do about it.

The Problem:

While other states have begun to reduce their global warming pollution, Wisconsin continues to rely on fossil fuels such as coal and oil that contribute global warming to meet our energy needs.

The Solution:

Wisconsin can still meet its energy needs while also reducing its overall global warming pollution.

Presentation by: Clean Wisconsin’s Ryan Schryver

Ryan was trained by Al Gore to lecture on global warming and works as a Clean Energy Advocate for Clean Wisconsin.

Location:
Northshore Presbyterian Church
4048 North Bartlett (east entrance)
Shorewood, WI
(One block north of Capitol, one block west of Oakland)

Time:
April 17, 2008
Doors open @ 6:30 pm.
Presentation @ 7:00 pm
