As you may or may not know, the lovely lizziegrace is considering a move to the greater Milwaukee area. She will be in town on Friday May 9 for an interview and would love to meet all of you fine people. So... please join me in giving her a warm welcome like we here in Wisconsin do best. :bounce:

They are on Hwy 100 & Bluemound - used to be the Ground Round (before they suddenly ceased operations much to the surprise of their employees and customers). Oh, they also tore down the Pizza Hut accross the street to the west to add a convenient parking lot. I digress...

19. the Wisconsin Democratic balance . . .

Well, this must be one of those balance of life things since I am have an Interview tomorrow in southern Illinois (my second actually)for a Chamber of Commerce executive director position. It is between me and one other person but I feel like I have a killer presentation for them so if you get the job in wisconsin and must be getting the job in Illinois in order to restore the Democratic balance here! That's my theory anyway. Seriously, good luck, We have been here almost a year, 7 months of that without work so we are happy to be leaving. The job I am interviewing for is like 5 miles from where we have our home in Southern Illinois and jobs like this don't come along very often down there so I am really hoping it works. Otherwise, we are going anyway as our apartment lease is up in June. But at least I know I am leaving Wisconsin in good hands with this bunch here!
