Number 1 to sign recall against WalkerDPW Announces "First to Sign" Winners to Recall Scott Walker
MADISON – Today the Democratic Party of Wisconsin announced the winners of the "First to Sign" contest to be one of the first names to appear on the petitions that will be filed with the Government Accountability Board on January 17, 2012. Thousands of Wisconsinites from all across the state entered the contest and nine winners were selected to attend kickoff events to recall Scott Walker:


Lisa Tareksi of Milwaukee
Linda and Douglas Martindale of Elkhorn
Bonita Swan of Stevens Point
Amanda Hoerter of Stevens Point
John Welty of Milwaukee
Elizabeth Wawrzyniak of Milwaukee
John Havlicek of La Crosse
Geoffrey Gialdini of Green Bay

"Regrettably, I voted for Scott Walker in 2010. I want to fix my mistake and be one of the first to tell Scott Walker that he did not have my full support in 2010 and he never will." -- Lisa Tareski of Milwaukee
