Can you believe Harper actually dodged saying he loves Canada?
I saw the clip tonight, I could not believe my eyes and ears. Nevermind his stupid, arrogant comments resurrecting the same sex marriage stuff. I guess later, when pressed, he did say he loved Canada....at least I think that's what I heard. But when asked originally by a reporter, he dodged it.

Un-fucking-believable.

This man is a 'prime minister-in-waiting'?

I think not.

1. He's incapable of answering a question spontaneously!
I saw him too and was floored by his stupidity in not just saying, "yes, of course I love my country."

2. Damn, I missed that one!
I have been studiously avoiding the first part of the news programs so I don't have to listen to the campaign rhetoric but this clip would have been interesting to be sure!

If you watch Harper, he does a mental calculation as to how many votes his answers will get before he responds even to the most innocuous ones. I have yet to see one instance of real emotion, real 'humanity' emanate from that man. EVERYTHING is calculated.

3. Harper DOES NOT love Canada
that's why he wants to unite it with the States and become part of the * regime. Be very afraid...

4. That's what it sounds like.....
because if he can't say he loves Canada, then it must be BushCo that he loves!

6. Utterly Amazing...
Harper's fault wasn't answering a stupid question...
the fault is otherwise intelligent people missing a Gannon-like question in their own political system...

YES YES we know, if it happens in that long running soap opera, 'US politics', then it is worthy of consideration as to WHY a professional journalist would even ask a question like that or even why a ruling party would funnel millions to a re-election campaign.

Yes...very unreasonable of Duceppe and the Quebec wanting to 'wipe' the Martinites and their liberals out of Quebec...this is 'nazi-like'?

7. I'm sure if he gets his way
he'll be able to say that it's his favourite state.
