I'd like to possibly visit Germany
and maybe possibly move there, but I was wondering if there was any place I would be able to find the cost of this? And is it even possible to do this if I'm not loaded with cash?

2. Check out
ToyTownGermany.com. They'll offer great advice.

You certainly can just show up--Americans don't need a visa to stay in German for up to three months and you're allowed to look for work while you're there. It's probably the easiest European country for Americans to access legally.
