MOVING FORWARD: How do we change the Dem primary states?

California and New York need to replace New Hampshire and Iowa as the first Democratic primaries. How do we do that?

2. While I worked for Kerry once he became the candidate

I was a Clark supporter, not only because of his credentials, but also because he was a southern military guy. I feared Kerry would be branded a "northern liberal."

And that got me to thinking that Iowa basically picked our candidate. The primaries were cut so short, we never really got a chence to voice our preference.

I am not knocking Kerry and Edwards; they worked their hearts out and I eventually did become enthusiastic about their candidacy.

THe first thing we need to change it the primary process.
