No, of course is not to MAKE A PUBLIC STATEMENT DENYING THAT THIS INFO IS VALID and warning ON THE AIR about the situation.

The "best" thing to do is to POST THE NUMBERS ON YOUR WEBSITE AND LATER MODIFY THEM TO "MATCH" THE ACTUAL "RESULTS." (rationale of some visitors of this site)

That's what you do when you want to "avoid controversy."
