Your help needed -- "Be the Media" kit
Edited on Mon Jan-31-05 01:22 PM by garybeck
Hi folks,

In the near future I will make available the "Be the Media" kit I've been talking about. It will consist of a CD with all the videos and essential documents about election fraud, plus tools to print t-shirts, flyers, business cards, and many ways to help spread the word. Due to a kind contribution, several of the "be the media" kits will be made available for free, for those who promise to make use of it. Stay tuned if you're interested.

I'm sure I"ll be continuously upgrading the kit but I want it to be as complete as possible when it first comes out. Below is my current list of what will be on the CD. Please take a few moments to look over the list and make suggestions on what I'm missing. I can keep adding content until it fills up a CD. So far space on the CD is not an issue.

freeman doc
the slideshow
votergate movie
DU movie (the one released 1/25)
ohio suppression movies
http://www.solarbus.org/stealyourelection/articles/0130-exitpolls.html
something from Chuck Herrin
black box voting PDF book (hopefully Bev won't sue me)
Conyers 100 page report
some conyers letters to blackwell
a few other judiciary committe docs
video of congress contesting the vote
some video from hearings (if I can figure out how to cut out portions of the CSPAN footage)
the one-page voting fact sheet on solarbus.org
Georgia Diebold PDF (?)
myth breakers
a few Palast, Hartmann, Fitrakis, Rosenfeld & Wasserman articles
http://www.votersunite.org/info/mapflyer2004.pdf
new rebuttal to Mitofsky's report on exit poll problems
list of external website links

thanks
Gary

2. also, are you including contact info., or urls for contact...
...with the media, or elected officials?

It would be good to include a list of all state Sec. of States contact info.

Here's media blaster (simple to use, just cut and paste the four sets of media email addresses into your email program, write your message, and send):

http://www.independentmediasource.com/voteintegrity2_12.htm

Here's a DU url, where I've compiled all Senate Dem contact info. including all their state offices (not the posted list at the top, but the amended list towards the bottom of the thread), and all Senate Repub DC contact info. (mid-thread):

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x302077

NOTE: In the Senate Dem list, just ignore the question marks (?) that appear before some of the Dem names.

8. I'm not keeping track of peole who want a copy yet
Several people have expressed interest at being notified when it's ready, etc... I working on the content now and I'm not keeping track of these requests at this point. I promise to post info here as soon as it becomes available. I will also info on the Solar Bus website and in the email newsletter. I hope to have approx 50 copies available for free and after that it will only be a nominal fee to cover production and shipping costs (probably less than $5).

Great content, Gary.

I'd like to suggest a little file with a list of beliefs and countering facts. This comes to mind as the first post that TIA put out was titled this way "To believe Bush won, you also must believe" (sorry, I'm probably butchering this.) But, the title was arresting and got to me on another board and helped me come here.

I'd be willing to help put it together. Simple, straightforward and lubricating for the more difficult stuff that follows.

Hunger For Democracy

The five basic elements of voting security are:

-Poll Book (personal sign in)
-Paper ballot
-Ballot box (transparent and locked)
-Hand Count (of all paper ballots in the ballot box)
-Results Posted (prominently displayed at the polling place)

Many of these elements are missing in many of the polling districts and sites across the United States. YOUR VOTE IS IN GRAVE DANGER.

24. A couple or our "tools"...
...use 'em, don't use 'em. Just offering.

Our things differ from the usual "election fraud" stuff in that they deal with the core value of our right to confidence in free and fair election results, not simply a (stalinist) vote count.

This graphic We Do Not Concede has been useful as it draws attention. We've had many requests for copies.

Also, our effort continues regarding January 6th (relaunching as the January 6th Coalition Project). We've simply changed the date (visibly). The issues and demand for officials to stand up and do their sworn duty, as Sen. Boxer et al did, remains the same.

This Declaration of Intent has been the vehicle for this effort and was included in the official record of the first Conyers hearing in DC.

We also have project talking points should you wish to use them or any part (feel free to use/edit without attribution - it continues to evolve). They were part of the training on the bus on the way in from Ohio and (we're told) were helpful to many other Jan 6th activists in their meetings with staff. They include a good bit of background info that folks should know.
