video of the stickers on Kerry ballots in Ohio?
I heard in a recent interview that one of the recount observers used a cellphone to take a video of the stickers on the Kerry ballots. I've been searching all around for this and can't find it. Anyone konw where it is, or have a copy?

thanks

Gary

1. I could not find the picture..
At this point I don't think it was published.

In case you missed the original story, here it is.

"The volunteers asked if they could take pictures of the stickers, but Bare would not allow them. One witness, however, used a small camera to quickly take footage of the tabulation machines in an attempt to document the stickers. The footage, which is blurry, is now being examined by experts."

2. yup, I saw that... but

how long do these "experts" need to review it? That was back in January. Who are the experts? Can we see it now?

I think this is potentially one of the most explosive stories about the stolen election that could blow the lid off everything. Even though it's not about the e-voting problems.

I'm concerned that it's being buried and if we don't make a stink we'll never hear about it again. It's time to start asking questions. Who has the video, where is it, who is reviewing it, have they concluded anything, when will it be released, why is it taking so long ....? is it part of the Cobb recount lawsuit? Is that why it's tied up?

3. Gary, did you read the Lucas County BOE Investigation Report that

Blackwell's office put out-I thought that document would below the lid off especially since it was put out by Blackwell. This report coupled with the FBI probe into Tom Noe (Chairman bu$h/cheney '04-Northwest Ohio/and former Chairman of the Lucas County Republican Party, whose wife Bernadette was forced to resign from the Lucas County BOE after all these horrendous problems occurred with the election. THE REPUBLICANS HAD UNSUPERVISED ACCESS TO UNSECURED BALLOTS-why isn't this all over the media?

Why isn't all the evidence grouped together and being formally investigated? Why are there only a few Dems, like John Conyers crying FRAUD? I don't get it.

5. I saw the Lucas report, not sure about the FBI
as far as the Lucas report goes, at first my eyeballs were popping out. unsecured ballots, manipulation of the recount, several election officials resigned, and yes, the investigation was done by Blackwell. I agree it should have been all over the media. I found one MSM story on it; it mentioned that some Democrats were forced to resign too.

I was considering writing an article on this, because I couldn't find one that really did it justice, that I could link to. but it was on the side burner as I try to finish up other things first. tell you what, since you seem to be up to speed on it, can you read this article:

http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050407/NEWS09/504070363

and give me your opinion? do you think it's a spin? Do you think a better article is needed? If so, maybe I could save time by just writing a brief summary and linking to the PDF report itself.

As far as the FBI investigation goes, I'm not sure which one you mean and I haven't seen any. It's my understanding that the FBI is supposed to be investigating the stickers. But RawStory reports that NONE of the oberservers who filed affidavits about the stickers have even been contacted by the FBI. This really worries me. i remember from the movie Bush's brain, that Rove has connections to the FBI, so any time I hear the FBI is on it, I get skeptical. if there's an FBI report about Noe, please point me to it; i'll check it out.

Thanks
Gary

7. Since Cincinnati is the closest FBI office to Clermont County maybe a...
SW OH DUer could pay them a visit? Of course it would have to be a SW OH DUer that does not need to be anonymous in their partisan activities due to employment.

4. I agree..

I wouldn't want it to disappear, like a chunk of sidewalk in Dallas.

But I would certainly give up the right to hear about it now, if the end result was an accumulated explosion of proof, down the road.
Which would be the way to go, if someone were collecting all the evidence (optimism, or naiveity...your choice).

I wouldn't mind seeing, the 'signed voter rolls in the garbage' video, myself.

PS Lala Raw might know it's status (movie/picture of stickers on ballots).

6. waiting....
it's hard to wait like this. we don't know if everything is just being buried, or if it's being gathered for a big explosion. one reason i'm skeptical is that RawStory reported that none of the people who signed the affidavits about the stickers has been contacted by any investigators. You'd think if there was an investigation they'd get a call at some point.

14. I am a big believer in the pop in ...
vs. the email. The SW Ohio FBI office could use a citizen visit to find out what is being done if anything. If not why not? Perhaps Liam Laddie could stop in. I personally have to be incognito in all my partisan activities due to employment. Retired Judge Nathaniel Jones of Cincinnati; someone should contact him but not with email. For all we know only an administrative asst. checks his email.

As far as Columbus/Mighty Texas Strike Force:

They stayed at a Holiday Inn near the RNC headquarters. A Columbus DUer could chat up HI staff especially valets, bar tenders and maids and cab drivers. Attempt to find out where the men may have gone to celebrate. Did they ask about strip clubs? If they went to any strip clubs did they spend a lot of money and talk too much as men often do at strip clubs. If they did (spent lots of money and talked) strippers are likely to remember. Did they use credit cards? Did any of them give a stripper a business card?

Warren County:

Emergency Services Director Frank Young. What do his neighbors think of him? Any recent large purchases? What bar does he hang out at? What does the bartender think of him? Has he bragged?

And most important of all lets help spread http://bushcheated04.com

we MUST learn to use mockery to our advantage. Perhaps a Daily KOS diarist could talk it up. Write it on dollar bills. Print the free bumperstickers in the left nav and glue them with 3M Super 77 adhesive to bus stop shelters and utility poles. Tack them to bulletin boards on college campuses.

10. No pics but
The same stickers were also placed on the machines, the witnesses said. “I saw more of these stickers on both the front and back of the ballots,” Gifford asserted. He says he asked Republican election chief Bare “if he knew where they came from and he paused and said, ‘I am not aware of them.’”

The volunteers asked if they could take pictures of the stickers, but Bare would not allow them. One witness, however, used a small camera to quickly take footage of the tabulation machines in an attempt to document the stickers. The footage, which is blurry, is now being examined by experts.

During the meeting, according to Gifford, Drake, Spraley and other witnesses, the stickered ballots were counted for Bush/Cheney, even though the Kerry/Edwards oval was clearly marked underneath.

Several Clermont Board of Election employees, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that there were stickers placed on both the tabulators and the ballots. The same employees said that the stickers did cover the oval next to Kerry/Edwards

11. Does anyone know a Clermont PRECINCT that had the stickers?
A citizen-based manual recount could include examining the stickers, if we knew which precinct to recount. I checked the Raw Story and Vote Cobb sites and can't find a reference to a particular precinct.

Liam_laddie might consider examining the ballots if we could identify a specific precinct for him. (He can't recount ALL of the 3% precincts from the Greens recount.)

Cheers.
