I think the guy is a liberal but realized he could make a living doing it from a righty viewpoint. Crazy sells right? To show you what I mean I changed one of the paragraphs.
Schmitz’s way:
After all, the Left wouldn’t be raising such a ruckus – much less, even care – if they didn’t feel so threatened by the New Media of Fox News, talk radio, and Matt Drudge, Newsmax.com, CNSNews.com and Worldnetdaily.com, who equally seek out their constitutionally protected right to be heard and expose the Left’s lies and distortions that the elite media always ignore.
My way:
After all, the Right wouldn’t be raising such a ruckus – much less, even care – if they didn’t feel so threatened by the New Media of Air America, TruthOut, MoveOn, Democratic Underground, Daily Kos and Eschaton, who equally seek out their constitutionally protected right to be heard and expose the Right’s lies and distortions that the elite media always ignore.
This paragraph explains his hatred of any news organizations that do not spout righty talking points but you could probably change the sources to right leaning papers:
Not surprising, these articles( for are submitted by none other than the Left-leaning “Democratic” Party house organs of the New York Times, the Washington Post, Reuters, the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times, and the extremely Far Left, Salon.com and The Nation…
Then again, maybe Schmitz is really a crazy right winger and this paragraph shows how out of touch he is with reality:
In the book, Pitt and Ritter desperately try to plead Hussein’s case and rationalize why that monster should still be in power – despite Pitt feigning glee that he was gone. Pitt and Ritter theorized that Hussein never actually posed a real threat to our national security, since he supposedly destroyed all of his WMDs. (This is yet another trait of the Far Left: Trusting a lying, murderous despot more than the U.S. military and its current commander-in-chief, who used the same exact arguments for taking out Hussein as did Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Carl Levin, Nancy Pelosi, etc.)
Schmitz says, Pitt/Ritter theorized that Saddam never posed a threat….Somebody needs to inform Schmitz that it’s not a “theory”. It’s pretty well proven there were no WMDs; no connection to Al-Qaeda. But you have to love Schmitz’s humor, he believes our commander-in-chief is trustworthy and more trustworthy than Saddam. Well, in my book that’s not a resounding endorsement for Bush.
What in the world are they putting in the Kool-Aid now days. This guy is a complete idiot. I remember a time in America when stupidity kept you at the bottom of earning scale. Now, you can make a decent living at it…go figure.
