Bush - Most Hated President Ever Stole Both Elections
Normally I don't post "Bush stole the election" articles because I don't believe in
preaching to the choir, and also don't want to increase republican opposition
to verified voting.
However, with Bush's poll numbers http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/06/04/MNGBSJ87JT1.DTL">so far down the tube now,the time is right.

This piece in Op/Ed news by Evelyn Pringle gives a first hand account
of voter disenfranchisement as witnessed, and builds upon Robert Kennedy's
account in the Rolling Stones:

June 3, 2006

Bush - Most Hated President Ever Stole Both Elections

The latest polls say Americans now dislike Bush more than any other president including even Tricky Dick. It only took the public five and half year to see through him.

That said, I wonder how long it will take people to accept the news that Bush never won either election and the country is in such a mess that it will take 50 years to get back to how it was when Bush took office....

Well Republicans can call me whatever they like because this nut-case is finally going to weigh in on this subject.
Bush needed Ohio. He could not win the election without Ohio and he knew it....

2. Are there any two term presidents who WEREN'T impeached which
...history is harsh to?

Ideally, Democrats will take the House, and impeach Bush, and Bush won't be convicted (so we won't get President Cheney.)

But I'm pessimistic about Democrats taking the House in 2006.

3. With clean elections, Dems would sweep in 2006 and in 2008.
How many polls have we seen where the pollster say, "I've never seen a poll like this before" and BushCo rolls merrily on.

Dems may still be able to take the House, but not unless we keep working our heads off to bust these felons in every way we can at the same time. No candidate or platform alone or even party unity and singing with one throat alone will give us back the ballot box. We've got to go out and get it back.

Speaking of which, this is a good week (primaries in some states) to ask candidates what their take is on HAVA/electronic voting/ election reform. . . .

4. K & R. "Normally I don't post...
..."Bush stole the election" articles because I don't believe in preaching to the choir."

Before you self-suppress any postings you think are worthy with preaching to the choir in mind, remember there are many who peruse DU who do not post nor are they registered. They may be the most important reason to post this kind of information.

5. You don't see article titles like that very often
"most hated" "stolen" I like the sound of that.

Now, if only the MSM could write stories like that.

7. pretty weak article by Evelyn Pringle:
"The exit polls," he explains, "even showed Kerry breathing down Bush’s neck in supposed GOP strongholds Virginia and North Carolina."

Against these odds, experts say, the statistical likelihood of Bush winning was less than 1 change in 450,000. According to the father of modern polling, Lou Harris: “Ohio was as dirty an election as America has ever seen.”
