About 150 forms questioned in Metro, Williamson County.


At least five apparently bogus voter registration forms were submitted to the Metro Nashville election commission by a worker with ties to the Republican National Committee, and up to 150 other registrations have been called into question, The Tennessean has learned.

Election officials in Williamson County said they were probing three to five potentially fraudulent forms that might or might not be related to the Metro cases.

The five Metro forms contain the names, addresses and phone numbers of bona fide citizens, but the birth dates, Social Security numbers, signatures and some other details are wrong. Four of the citizens told The Tennessean that they did not submit the forms.

The five contain a signature with a surname of Morrison and a first name that is illegible but appears to begin with a "D." Metro staff said the registration forms bearing that signature were submitted in the name of Tennessee Victory 2006, a booster group advocating for GOP candidates in the state. A sixth form also apparently contains bogus information but does not bear a Morrison signature.

3. "A Tennessee Pissin' Match" X-Posted from a GD thread

Paul Lehto (DU's Land Shark) posted an article earlier this week about the Voter ID issue as carried by an editorial in the Tennessean. It was an excellent OpEd.

And, as I am from Missouri, I was particularly interested because we have our own state Photo Voter ID bill pending in front of our Supreme Court. You can find the OpEd at the URL below.

I went to the Tennessean to read the article. I also found a place for interactive reader comments, so I posted my viewpoint, and it was like walking into a swarm of Killer Bees.

To cut to the chase, it was as if every Moss-Backed GOP Red Stater had been mailed a set of talking points by Karl Rove himself about Photo Voter IDs! I see it at the Tennessean and I saw it here at DU when HR 4844 was brought up.

Same old points.

We just MUST pass a Photo Voter ID bill, or every single illegal alien will sneak in to our polls (risking life, limb, and incarceration) to vote Democratic!!

And, if a person doesn't think about it twice, Photo ID seems to makes sense (as in "Why not ??").

That is, until you understand that there are about 13 million currently registered and voting Americans (mostly Democrats) who would lose their ability to ever vote again.

Now this thread reveals the Real Truth. The "Voter Fraud" is being done by the GOP!
