I'm flying half-blind here, but since the edit clock is running.... (See my other post. Look for "server" in post #15.)

The link in #16 does work fine.

ETA: now that I've looked at the VTUSA article -- it seems that the DU software is "thoughtfully" converting square brackets to angle brackets. Drives me nuts -- I'm always wanting to put things in square brackets.

2. ooh, weird

Looking at the source, I see that the page stops rendering when it encounters the word "server" in angle brackets. My browser is trying to interpret that as an HTML tag. (Talking about post #15 in the other thread, right?)

So I guess the moral is, if you copy and paste, watch out for spurious angle brackets that might confuse browsers.

9. yeah, if you have an Internet Explorer, you have 4 min for the edit...

ETA: The text reads

The oddity here is that the /server/ clock...

where / is brackets. Firefox chokes on the bogus tag; IE just drops the whole thing.
