Los Angeles County Election Protection kick-off party

We (several local election protection groups together)are holding an event in santa monica on jan 17th.
There will be films (parts of hacking democracy, dan rather report), speakers: Robert Cohen, director of hacking democracy and Mark Crispin Miller, a report on the new LA Registrar of Voters, and sign-ups and break-out groups for poll working, poll monitoring, video the vote, and watching the vote tally in Norwalk on election night Feb 5th.


Also an early catered dinner available for 6.00 via RSVP.

We have a new ROV in town who is known for his history of bad election procedures. We need larger numbers of citizens to oversee the election process all over the county. Even if you only have 3 hours to give, during that one day, there is so much you can do!
