It's very hard to find anything on this subject.

Anyone know how long it will take to recount the votes by hand?

Are they being recounted in a single location?

5. Thanks for a news source. I took a municipality to court here in California and won a recount.
Thanks for the Concord Monitor Report source.

This makes sense to me.

Although a large amount of the ballots in New Hampshire were counted by hand, they were counted at the precinct level where there were lots of volunteers and the decentralized effort goes quickly.

Now that all of the ballots for the entire state are in one location (which is what I believe I heard), it could be a very big undertaking to perform and each campaign will want to have observers (if allowed....it is allowed in California) during the recount.

It seems like a big mess, but regardless of the outcome, I am glad it is happening as it will remove any cloud from the results.

I'm very happy that New Hampshire has paper trails.

And that, to me is the big story in the recount. They CAN actually have a recount. There are tangible "receipts" from the voters.

Thanks.

6. We Are Certainly In Agreement, Sir
That elections should be conducted in a manner that makes possible verification of the official rally in case where dispute arises over it.
