1. I find natalie a bit irritating.

whereas sharona had that right hint of dirty/sexy and attitude.

I think he and Natalie are much cuter together, and I enjoy the show much more. I WANT to watch these old episodes, but I just don't like them as much.

I don't think they had time to finish the Sharona leaving story line like it unfolded in the book.

so much. I haven't watched it since.

have done all day Monk marathons without skipping a beat. Needless to say I am a big fan of EVERYONE in the show, they all do a fine job.

8. I will admit that Sharona is a bit rough on the guy. Monk seems to do better

and grow more under Natalie's care.

Difficult because Tony Shalhoub is one of my favorite actors.

The flavor of the show just didn't work after she was gone.

I was actually just discussing this with a coworker. The show is still good but when Sharona was there she clashed a lot more heavily w/ Monk which was more interesting. She clashed with Randy a bit, too. Natalie is a lot more sweet/good natured. She also seems to do more detective work on the side (Dr. Watson). I also prefer her daughter to Sharona's son. This is simply the writing, of course. Her daughter is much more prominent.

She was so cute and had so much attitude. Natalie is way too much of a "good girl", conservative in her manner and style-- I find that boring.
