While Reaper's ratings are very low, it has two positive things going for it – With Smallville almost certainly ending after next season, Reaper is positioned as a good possibility to be paired with Supernatural on Thursday nights, if the show's audience can be expanded. Secondly, Reapers ratings increase a higher percentage than almost any other series when DVR use is factored in. On top of that, the Reporter says the CW's executives have a soft spot for the series.


I'm glad. I LOVE Ray Wise as the devil, and Tyler Labine as Sock. The show has really started to gel, so I'd hate for it to get cancelled just as it was hitting it's stride.

1. Reaper is very enjoyable.

The writing is pretty good and the characters have good chemistry with each other.

2. Ray Wise is just so...

wonderfully devilish. Hard not to like him even if he is satan. I loved those Halloween promos they did with the song "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" with him dancing around.

3. Great casting. That grin is killing me.

I like it when they remind you he's the devil(not all smiles & sunshine) with some genuine evilness/selfishness.

One good thing that has been happening of late is getting away from the formula of get vessel, figure out who escaped soul is, capture, the end.

I like the way they have been mixing it up or have the soul bounty as a small subplot.

4. Reaper is Great!

Especially Ray Wise! He's having so much fun playing Satan. It's better than his performance as Laura Palmer's father in "Twin Peaks".
