Schiavo case
In case you haven't been following the US House is now intervening in these people's lives and difficult personal decisions.

But I also read today in NYT that the judge who originally ruled the feeding tube could be removed is being persecuted for his legal opinion. And apparently he's a very devout christian.

What is the liberal christian position on these cases? And couldn't liberal christians and other people of faith help this guy out, stand up for him against the protesters? Of course the local (if there are any) Humanists should be out there too giving him support.
