May Day is now the "National Day of Prayer"
Yep, the holiday reserved for workers everywhere is now just prayer for the higher ups of society. :( The common workers and union members get ignored as the trend is to look up and not down. :(

2. You betcha.
Of course, most of us will duly ignore this newest holiday grab by the overly pious and wear red while plotting revolution.

5. gee i went to school when the girls danced around
Edited on Thu Apr-10-08 06:24 PM by madrchsod
the big phallic symbol and gave out may baskets to the boys! of course we did`t get it back then!

then the people wised up..no more phallic symbols and the girls celebrating their fertility

it became law day cause the commies were godless heathens intent on destroying our way of life..

7. How subtle. The "Pray for Election Day - Red Campaign"
http://www.ndptf.org/election/
We are encouraging Americans to place a red dot on your watch, cell phone, car's steering wheel, computer monitor, calendar, bathroom mirror; anywhere you will be reminded to pray for our elections. Request yours today by clicking the Send me a free red dot link below.

Red, huh? Totally innocent coincidence, of course, that it's the same color used to represent Republicans the last two presidential elections.

10. I'm sorry, but where in the bible does it say that
every man is entitled to due process and we are all equal under the law?
