1. Ayn Rand?

:puke:

Neither her politics or her literary incompetence recommend her or give me cause to invest my time in watching her.

Shrug.

2. You'll be hard-pressed to find Randians here on DU.
Even among us atheists.

3. Didn't you get the memo? Atheists are just smug white libertarian men.

4. Welcome to DU.
It's true that you'll find few (very few!) Ayn Rand fans here. Although I think her modern-day devotees are extreme and anything but "objective," I do appreciate parts of what she's written.

On the subject of atheism, at least, you'll probably find a more receptive audience _here_.

5. Ms. Rand merely wanted everyone to believe that the market was God, and she was its profit.
(Yes I can see the spelling error, it was intentional)

6. Is Orthodox Objectivism a Religion?
... Rand saw herself as something of a secular prophet ...

Orthodox Objectivism has its official canon of scripture ...

.. adulation of the .. founder is paramount ...

Orthodox Objectivism has its official church, the Ayn Rand Institute, which proselytizes ...
